The controller processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Slovak Personal Data Protection Act.
Personal data we process
Depending on the purpose, we may process in particular:
- identification data (name, surname, company name),
- contact details (e-mail address, phone number),
- information contained in messages sent via contact form or e-mail,
- technical and analytical data related to the use of the website (IP address, cookies, etc.).
Purposes and legal bases
1. Communication and handling enquiries
Answering questions, enquiries or requests submitted via the contact form or by e-mail.
Legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller or performance of a contract / pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
2. Compliance with legal obligations
Fulfilling obligations arising from legal regulations (e.g. accounting, tax, regulatory).
Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
3. Legitimate interests
Protection of the rights and legitimate interests of the controller, e.g. in the context of dispute resolution, enforcement of legal claims or protection of IT systems.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Website analytics
Cookies may be used for statistical and analytical purposes, such as measuring website traffic and usage.
Legal basis: consent of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), except for strictly necessary cookies.
Retention periods
- contact form data: usually up to 24 months after the communication is closed,
- data kept under legal obligations: for the period required by law,
- analytics cookies: according to their type and settings (see Cookie Policy).
Recipients and processors
Personal data may be disclosed to trusted contractual partners (IT service providers, accountants, legal advisors) strictly to the extent necessary to achieve the given purpose. All such partners are bound by confidentiality and data processing agreements.
Personal data are not transferred to third countries outside the EU unless appropriate safeguards and an adequate level of protection are ensured.
Your rights
You have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
- right of access,
- right to rectification,
- right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”),
- right to restriction of processing,
- right to object to processing based on legitimate interest,
- right to data portability,
- right to withdraw consent at any time,
- right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority – the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.
